Is this course beginner-friendly?
Yes. This course is designed for complete beginners, even if you’ve never played a wind instrument before.
What type of flute do I need?
In classical bansuri teaching, students start with a bass E flute. This is because it is quite large and if you can play that, you can pretty much play anything. Our teacher Krishna Kishora advises you start with an A or G# bansuri flute. It is an in-between size and manageable for most students.

How much should I practice?
10-15 minutes per day is good for beginners.
Do I need musical experience?
No. You will learn everything step-by-step, including posture, breath, and finger placement.
