In Mridanga 2 you will continue to build on the foundation of Mridanga 1, going deeper into Hasta Sadhana, traditional mridanga mantras, advanced double-speed beats, and developed techniques and tihais to enhance your kirtan. You’ll also learn: 

- Bhajani Taal - the “classic swung rhythm” 
- Mattan Taal - the beat that is special to Bengali kirtan 
- Classic “old school” beats from the 60’s and 70’s

An internationally recognized Kirtan singer, recording artist, and inspirational speaker, Visvambhar (Vish) has a lifelong connection to India and its culture. Being brought up in a Kirtan family and community, he began leading Kirtan from the age of five. Vish has a rare capacity to invoke and transmit the essence of kirtan.
